Name your favourite cocktail

There are loads which aren't sickly at all. Good ones are Whisky sours and margaritas.

 

Don't know what you call it, or even what's in it, but it was white, sweet, and 2 of 'em made yer face go numb.

 

I have a thing for Mojitos saying that Cuba got me hooked on Piña Coladas, saying that many years ago boarding in Heavenly the fire and ice bar served what the called the chocolate brownie shake which contained more spirits than I can recall, ice cream, cream, and a shed load of chocolate brownies.

 

Cocktails are for Girls and pooftas

Towards the end of the last century I spent some time in the R.O.C. where the normal start to a night out was either a 'Duck Fart' or a 'Tequila Slammer', even if you didn't want one.

To quote Mr Gump, "That's all I have to say about that...."

Sadly, people are generally very lazy and unimaginative when it comes to drinking. Amazing cocktails aren't that difficult to make (it's not as if you have to cook anything, is it?) and make a great change from wine and beer. Not slagging wine and beer (which are both splendid) but there are some awesome cocktails or long drinks you could be drinking.

 

The use of the word splendid makes me smile. Marvellous

As for a favourite "cocktail", I thought 'Boogey Nights' was pretty good.
