  8. Quick starter of a couple of pints of Butcombe, main of a side of salmon in a cranberry and orange marinade, some veg and new pots, loosely accompanied by liberal Laurent Perrier rose, Brie and Stilton pud, poss small glass of port.

    In bed by ten with a good book.
