Anyone been lately? I have never been but have been persuaded to join in .. Then they tell me it's really really hot !!! 18 degrees is hot to me Oh and sleep ... No way ... I have been told to go live in the airport if it gets hot ... Sit in airport for hot part of day and run there to use the loos. Party at night How much money to take. I don't drink much now to be honest just the Navy's finest So any tips are welcome..
Get a hotel room with AC. Sleep during the hot part of the day with AC on and party at night when it is cool
Great place. I like Portugal. I've always stayed at the quieter end of the Algarve (East) with the occasional trips to Albefeira for a night out.
I took the family there in 2013, we flew easyjet and rented a little house on Armona island just off the coast near Faro. I was surprised how cheap it was to eat out. It was one of the best holidays we've had.
Not a big junk food fan These days I don't drink too heavy either! I'm happy to go offsite for decent food . Not mega high end . But not pavement Pizza !
All the stuff I've seen about the Faro Rally says pretty much what has already been suggested - it's right next to the airport, so use their facilities... I've not been myself, but I know a few who have and none of them have a bad word to say about it... Have you had a look at BSH's website? They go every year...
Yup my friends BF just took over the editors job I think it's got to be done once ! Although I'm typical Brit it's too hot !! And tend to go like a boiled lobster ! Or I just stand in the sea
