Tempting addition - but not sure I would get away with that on the outside of a Georgian property in a conservation area! Am putting internal heating into mine off the house, with thermostatically controlled valve. Hope it's enough. But I only need it warm when I am in there working on things, rest of the time just residual to prevent damp. Heat pumps are nice though. I did think about it.....
Will try and get some photos of mine tomorrow - still very much work in progress. These storms have hardly helped progress over the past weeks! Am still optimistic for a mid Jan completion - hooray!
Yep we get bugger all. 8% discount and 2% for up front payment. We have to pay for all our training. That's why I spend +£100k with Fujitsu...they like me.
send me a pm and I'll show you how we hide things. I've got jobs next to Harrods and Parliment, no signs of any ac systems. It may be useful on any other projects. Note If you can cheaply tap off an existing heating system thats great. Most garages cant.
So long as it's close to what you need then you arent really loosing anything. If it's 300% over rated then you'll be wasting energy.
An Aga in your mancave? That's a bit flash. Do you bubble up stews for hours on end as you tinker? That's a pretty good plan, though. Whack in the beef, carrots etc, then tinker all day in an appetising smell and cosy atmosphere, knowing that when you've had enough, you just open a bottle of Rioja or Fullers ESB and tuck in to your Irish stew. Very civilised!
yep we are really rich.......its actually an old rayburn that had a burst boiler. I removed it and rather than scrap it I gave the coustomer some monies and brought it home, I removed the boiler and fitted a back plate, then I converted it back to solid fuel from oil. now when lit I can cook on it but mainly it heats the cave,it also smells good with a little two stroke on the hot plate.
here you go. the engine at the moment is a 2110cc with 48 IDA carbs. it is a great car for traffic light sprints. henk!!!
For anyone who doesn't know, that's not just any RGV, but a 'VJ23' and that is a very special thing indeed! Can't think of a cooler pair of bikes, unless of course u add a 'v-due'
