VHS Tapes

Would these be, erm.... "Gentlemen's Entertainment" titles by any chance?

 

I've been taping WSBk races for a couple of mates that haven't got Sky for the last few years. Get some funny looks from peeps in the pub when I pass them on. Probably won't be doing it this year, it can be a pain and my new skybox and tv only have 1 scart socket each making it hard to monitor. Still got my vhs recorder but not connected at present.

 

Can you play them on an iPad ?

 

Betamax Ipad is what you need. Ive got one i can sell you if you wish - conveniently...

 

I've got shitloads of VHS tapes, nothing to play them on. Pointless, but still keep them.

8 track? if I had the right period car, then that would be spot on ( from what I've read about em)- im too young though, to have personal experience.......

 

I still have a VHS player but not connected and used for years, I have plenty of tapes of bike racing from the 90's etc. You can buy converters to copy them to DVD and they are not that expensive. That's what I am going to do one day, then I might be able to enjoy some period racing again. I have the RD350 pro am series from way back which would be good to see again.

 

my son has asked what a video is and was amazed when I explained.

 

big mistake, some are gonna go missing now.
