  13. Interesting idrinkbeer. After much searching I found some like new 1098 lowers to replace the black lowers on my 848. Now I have fitted them and stood back and looked I'm thinking I prefer it with the black lowers. Just seems like a big slab of red now. Will leave it all red for now and see if it grows on me. Also noticed that although all bodywork is OEM parts and OEM paint the match is not perfect. Not just the lowers but also the seat cowl look a bit more "orange red" rather than "blood red" - totally exaggerating to help describe but there is a subtle difference.

    Great bike by the way!

  14. lol the guy I bought my bodywork of had removed it from an 848 to fit red panels to his bike. I just love look of the black lowers......
