Hi, I need to fit a sharks fin to the 848... Any recommendations? My old favourite (eThief) has let me down so far. Been doing a bit of googling but not found anything for an 848. Seen a few "multi-purpose" units, but they seem to be for DS Swinging arm... Thoughts? Thanks, Bob
I had to Google shark's fin - not heard of these before, and didn't realise getting fingers caught like that was a particular problem. I'm worried now
Get a swingarm cover with it included, otherwise you have to drill the swingarm. I may have one actually....plain black nothing special, replaced it for a carbon one
I love how these manufacturers come up with these "must have" add-on items and people believe them
Yep, "must have" according to ACU regs... I love how people post things to the forum that they may well regret.... emailed R&G. Found some links to them doing one, but can't see any details.... Bradders; I might be keen to haggle for your spare? Cheers, Bob
Chris, thanks, this does seem to be easiest of the units to fit that require drilling... I found the link below, but need to confirm it will pop straight on without any drilling... http://shop.ilmberger-carbon.de/car...carbon-ducati-848-/1098-/-1198-/-s-/-r?c=2271 A bit more than I wanted to pay.... so current either this one, the link you posted or bradders spare unit... I've got one on the 748 that covers the whole swinging arm, but like the idea of a smaller bit of kit, such as the one you posted. my only concern is putting the holes in the wrong place... Many thanks, Bob
its sat here doing nothing. You're welcome to it. But....I dont do hassle of postage so where are you based...
Bradders... Big thumbs up! Mate said he picked up the sharks fin today, and I'll get it off him on thursday... Many thanks, it's nice to be nice... I was at Valencia last year when someone bent their duke... I gave them my spare clip on; else they would have had an expensive 3 days sat in the pits... What goes around comes around... Much appreciated... Bob
