I am about to start clearing out the vast amounts of crap I have built up over the last 40 years since I had my first field bike at the age of 13........ not all bike stuff, like why have I still got a complete twin headlight unit from my old 1980 BMW 323i E21 I owned in 1992? Or a genuine 1990 M tech 525i boot spoiler, or a pair of headlamps from my 1974 Mini? Why did I keep all of my bike mags......................? Just happened to lift one and thought a taster might be of interest to you lot. Check out the prices...........
Don't want to dump but don't want to keep either, the hoarding activities have to stop and a monster clearout is necessary. They will not be dumped so will be looking for a new home in another hoarders house............. My attic and 4 sheds are completely full of stuff... Stuff will be sorted into dump, money and free to a new home........... this current batch of 150 odd mags are from late 70's to early 80's, there is another load of Motorcycle Mechanics and Bike from early 80's to early 90's still in the attic.
Just looked up Ducati EBH409T and has disappeared, registered 8 Feb 79, last tax due 1 Oct 81, only 2 1/2 years on the road......
Hi Daisy Duke Do not think me "cheeky"...ok I am!! some lads on Laverda forum are doing the same (having a clear out) and if someone wants the "unloved" items, they are asking for small kind donations to be put on my charity challenge. Sorry just a thought. ian wood is fundraising for Dementia UK I am doing the same (clear out) and items will be put on Fleabay and winning bids will be paid straight to the donations. 100%
I had one of those Laverda Montjuic`s MKI which is peeking out at the top of "super bike" mag picture. Great bike. The noise was fantastic, two into one race exhaust. NO fairing though. Went to IOM twice on it and is now up in NE Scotland.
I sold my old car stuff on eBay after discovering it in my attic. You might be in for some good cash if they are desirable parts. I got £45 for a new bumper overrider from a MkIII Capri from a guy in Ireland.
thanks Duke, for thinking about it. I have just had email from Pirelli about things they will be sending me to "auction" off for donations. Any one know about the "limited edition WSBK book" and Pirelli connection? and some "used" podium Pirelli caps? Sounds good to me. Ian
