Hi all, I'm formerly a member of Ducatisti and was a regularly reading/posting in the 600 Supersport sections. Little bit about me, I'm 22 and have just graduated from Coventry University with a Bachelors degree in 'Motorsport & Motorcycle Engineering'. In 2011 I won a competition with Bennetts insurance called 'Bennetts Biking Dreams' to ride my bike dream and take my little 600ss to the Ducati factory using only back roads. Since that epic adventure with my Dad, he and I have written an iBook that will soon be avaliable on iTunes about the passion we discovered for all things Ducati in the trip. Anyway, it's great to be back on a UK Ducati forum, I'll be on the Supersport forum most of the time, but i'll soon be starting a thread about the iBook Cheers, Jacques
Hello Jacques I wasn't sure if you kept the SS but you've just answered that question. Congratulations on graduating and Good Luck with the book.
Hi Jacques. I read the story of your trip to Ducati with your dad. I recall they let him park a Triumph inside the factory compound (usually only Ducatis allowed in) and you both got to ride your choice of the Ducati range. Excellent!
Welcome - I haven't heard about your trip before. Are there any articles online about this? I expect you'll be a very worthwhile contributor to this site (better than me, I'm new to Ducati's)!
So was the pennyfarthing, no doubt. But I'm with you - I love books! And at least you can read them in bright sunlight and noisy Tube trains. Have it read to you? What is this, Listen With Mother?
