Why would an 848 or 899 be the quickest on the road ? , the bike that can accelerate the hardest and have the highest top speed wins, tbh it's the same on track as well with a pro rider on board. the only time a little bike goes quicker is when the rider of the big bike doesn't have the talent to use it or is too scared to open the throttle all the way !
Disagree. On the road its usable performance, not outright perfroamnce. Unless its the TT course, its how quick and hard you can get the throttle on and how the chassis works. Plus the 848 is the best road bike ever. Perdiod. ;-)
I sent a link for this thread to Andy from MCN... He logged on afterwards as his Id was listed on the who's here bit. Hopefully they might take you up on the idea!
thats what i said……..they should do an article on the evolution models:wink: of the 748-998………..showing what people have achieved with what…..and how
What's needed is an old fashioned original schillers fast bikes test. shakey, frosty, mason Not that stuff from MCN.
YES YES YES thats EXACTLY whats needed. And Shakey could still do it too...McPint and McWilliams maybe??!
