Can someone tell me what if any security does the 1199 ABS Panigale comes with as standard ? theres no mention of it in the brochure specification, but one of the potential insurers said it comes with an immobiliser. Im tempted to get it Datatagged, what have others done ?
think mines datatag from new not bothered anyway as who wants their bike back when its been nicked not me
ymfb, The pani comes with the factory immobiliser, I had the alarm fitted as an extra, but I think some are giving you a tracker system as part of the deal at the moment or were recently. My insurance company weren't bothered about the tracker when I got mine so I had the alarm fitted to bring the insurance down. Have 3 very light sleeping dogs as well (haven't figured out a way to install them yet!!!!!!!!!!!!!).
Factory immobiliser as standard and if you insured through DI you got 25% discount in the first year! road angel tracker free and the first year subscription! I'm guessing that offer may have passed now.
They all come with an immobiliser as standard these days, I bought the 899 my dealership data tagged it to free of charge and I also have a tracker fitted.
Good call mate, I had one fitted to my 848 evo and had it transferred to my 899. Did you do a two year subscription? thats the most they offer on their website but if you ring them you can get a 3yr one for not much more than the 2yr one :smile:
well worth asking of the dealer will thrown in a ducati alarm system, it's CAT1 approved.........that's what I did for 0 cost, worth a shot
