  1. Great news had a reservation next Saturday now been cancelled, planned weekend away with wifelet, dinner @dinner, billy Elliot for the girly and a lovely suite in a hotel now trying to desperately find a decent restaurant with a table with less than a week to go that we haven't been to. Bollocks

  4. Couple of restaurants there then..... Or a KFC in Leicester square....

  5. It is hestons place that have cancelled my reservation , and trying to get a table with less than a weeks notice ain't happening.

  6. What about L'escargot in Greek St (just off Charing Cross Rd/Shaftesbury)?

Ironically website is down just now, but should be up again soon. Must be a table in the courtyard though.

  8. What about Roux at parliament square, or the Caxton Grill home of runner up Masterchef professional Adam Handling, or Kew Grill owned by AWT. Then there is Roast in Borough market. One of those should have a table.

  9. There's friggin' loads of places in London. I'm sure you won't starve.

If you like fish, then try this. Awesome!... It's the sister restaurant to The Ivy. I met that tosser actor from Friends there. David Schimmer. A man so far up his own asshole he can see out his mouth!!...

    expensive, but very,very good food!

  11. The bar at Joel Robuchon normally has space and is great. Just don't dine upstairs

  12. there's plenty of pubs that should be able to do you a jellied eel pie.

  14. Lol theres loadsa chinese food outlets round soho. But Soho is where I'd go. Much of my youth was spent drinking in that area. Wardour St, Dean St etc. Dont be frightened of Old Compton St. In the 80's it was all sex shops. Now it's a bit cosmopolitan.

Alternatively head over to Covent Garden area and Neals Yard etc. Nice food places there too.
