Sepang test......

Discussion in 'Racing & Bike Sport' started by Il Presidente, Feb 4, 2014.

  1. Says on other sites that Ducati will decide after the Sepand tests whether to drop from factory class to the open.

That will be a bit of a drop won't it? I am sure the open class will be good but still gonna be well down on the factory bikes most of the time.....

  2. I think we all know that in current spec, the Desmo was never going to be better that the Hondas or the Yamahas

  3. The first signs of liffe for the new year! TIMESHEETS are back !

it looks like its going to be a fab "battle for 4th to 10th place"- season ! with all those customer bikes out there.. Espargaro seems on the pace... :)

but it s just the very first outing so nothing to be deducted..

EL PRESIDENTE , my man ! :upyeah:

  7. Come on guys, nothing dramatic will happen until they come with a completely new bike.
Surprise of the day is the Honda customer bike at 3 and 4 seconds... now that is a large gap to close... only relevant numbers will come from last day..

its going to ba a fab "4th to 10th plac battle" season...
and if Vale can mix it with DP , then even the front will be exciting... :)

  8. Sepang Testing - Ducati 12th, 13th & 14th :-(

Cal's interview with Eurosport says he only rode the new bike in the afternoon but didn't need to push too hard to get the info the team wanted. Apparently they will take some parts of the old bike and some of the new bike and make a third bike tonight, to try tomorrow.

  11. threads merged

  12. The 2014 looks quite different, much larger frame. Dovi's bike looks ridiculous!!!! So many welds, me thinks they are trying something radical

  13. Me thinks bodge job

  14. Cut and shut?

  15. Nice exhaust! & sticker on the front mudguard...

  16. just put a fucking trellis in it , arseholes , fucks sake they are still playing the Honda Yamaha game with that frame , at least they had the balls once upon a time to go with the engine as a stressed member.
What will happen is they'll take all season in the open class still pratting about with geometry on a 1980's deltabox frame. :frown:

  18. Iannone is almost a second faster than the other dukes, and assuming Hernandez is testing open spec he's v close to the works D16's.
WTF has the factory been doing all closed season. Agree they should get the 06 990 out of the museum and stick the new motor in it.

  19. Bet Bradley is delighted that Pol is already fronting him in the time sheets...

    Still, early days, eh?
