That has always been my feeling on the prototypes too, but it's interesting that the article states that the restriction were wanted by the MSMA (read: Honda) as an engineering exercise in getting better fuel economy, better engine life, and so on, which can then trickle down to the production bikes. This does make sense but you have to wonder how much more they can limit before everyone is at the same level - the bikes would all be the same weight, power, software, and so on and it would all be down to random component failure as to who wins!
Nah, if they were on c90's it'd be pedders title, he's the lightest by far although without traction control I'm sure he'd still high side it
looks like GIGI is clearing the road for a fresh new start on the bike.. so either they're already working on something else, or we won't see anything dramitcally before 2015... Ducati GP14: ci stiamo avvicinando?
I said a couple of seasons ago that Ducati would change sides as soon as CRT became competitive. It's unrealistic to expect a relatively small company like Ducati to compete directly with the might of Japan. Perhaps Cal's chances aren't as forlorn as I first thought...
Testing ain't going so good..........or maybe they are lulling the opposition into a false sense of security
El T they are not playing they are still bad. One thing I was thinking, Ducati has most BHP so now they will go CRT, they will adapt engine to new electronics and have most BHP again but now for longer. It might be funny to see prototypes looking like they are going backwards when against straight line speed CRT Ducati
I was on my phone the first time, I can now force the internet to speak in english... خو زه دوه ژبې خبری کولی سم...
I agree with El T, they are probably holding the beast back Lucazade, how do you know the Duc has most BHP ? What is it ?
Probably said it wrong, it can be by far the fastest and it is mix of aero and BHP. With more petrol it can be faster for longer and then as they got more engines they can run them closer to edge for longer.
