Group buy - rear brake master cylinder heat shields

You are listed guys.......bare with me, want to get batch 1 out the way before committing just so I can be sure there's no unforeseen aspects to the group buy (in particular whether HMRC pass the package without intervention)

 

# Great for slow speed maneuvers e.g. U turn (when they work)

# Nice to 'drag' a little in corners on occasion

# In certain circumstances why would you just ignore the 20-30% extra stopping power?! (on a bike that has a rear brake that works of course :tongue: )

# Great to hold a bike on an incline on occasions

# recommended on loose surfaces

.....because it's there it'd be nice if it worked as intended!

 

I will mostly be doing origami (sort of!) this afternoon...

Hope so......Mrs has gone in to town to collect (and pay the import duty/vat and admin fee!! )

In the post in the morning....afraid it'll be second class - don't know where the mis-calc was but not the margin on costings that I'd expected ;-)

Observation - I'm guessing Erik had a template for cutting the heat resistant/insulating material to shape. As it's cut to the exact size of the heat shield some kinda have a 'furry' edge. Just being pedantic in pointing this out....it's in my nature so I will have to spend some time on mine doing some careful trimming! lol
