  1. Not too many Ducatis out in this part of the world, but today we had a bit of a rumble of fast V twins around Connemara. An 1199 Panigale, 1098, 999S, and my 998S.

  4. Did I see you at the Orenmore roundabout at about 2.30pm yesterday. I was in the car but saw what looked like the 999 with number board, the 998 and the 1098. Are you West of Ireland based? I will have my 999s in Kinvara over the summer, May catch up with you at some stage or you may overtake me on the road!

  5. Going out to Louisburgh in September on 748, interested to know more about the area.

  6. I have never been there on the bike but traveled through the area many times. Beautiful. Bring rain gear!

  7. Yeah it just hasn't arrived yet....its still trying to catch up! :upyeah:

  8. Yes Garret that was us passing theOranmore roundabout , we are from Clare and Galway. PM me if you are in Kinvarra and we will show you some nice roads. in the area. Where are you from yourself?
Great roads around there Hughdg, Westport to Ballina via Mulranny and Bangor is nice and you can go from Louisburgh to Leenane and onto Clifden, lots of great biking around there.

  9. I am Dublin originally, Laois now. Mother from Kinvara originally. I was envious yesterday. Great weather and I was stuck in the car...heading to Laois. I will let you know when I am back there with the bike. Recently sold my SPS and picked up a 999s. Steering issues so its getting sorted before I take it out for a proper run. Rgds G

  10. Great,look forward to it:upyeah:

  11. Yea but...Yea but...it was on it's 2nd lap

  12. Already thought about the rain, what chance of riding from just north of London across part of Wales to the ferry, across Ireland, staying for a week and then back again and not getting wet? If I don't it might be time to buy a lottery ticket

  13. They say the same thing about biking in Scotland, but you just never know, it can be dry too:eek:

  14. when I lived in north London, I used to swing home on the bike up the A1(?) instead of M6 and swing left at Peterborough - More fun! Its hard to avoid Motorway (our version) in Ireland now on the way to Galway but if you went N7 (limerick road0 and turned off on primary/secondary roads for Mountmellick - Birr - Portumna - Gort - Kinvara (very nice stop off) - Galway - Connemara, it would be a less tedious alternative and roads that are quiet! G

  15. Cheers Garret, I'll put that to the others that are going and see what they say.

  16. would have joined you only its a bit too far for me :s
