Rain stops play in MotoGP free practice 3. I recon Ducati will be praying for it in qualifying this afternoon.
Yup there and eurosport too. 12.55 for the big bikes. Moto 2 are out at the minute for FP3....Redding in 5th, still 25 mins left tho. Smith is in 10th

Interesting the cagey comment from Yam on Rossi. Having pointedly not mentioned the possibility of his being 2nd rider, they mention Spies, Cal and Dov but say they need 6 weeks to make a decision. "So we can rule out Valentino joining Yamaha then?" Reply : "We need 6 weeks". Hmm. Maybe Ducati will sign up Cal and that will give them one less option. Spies has failed to shine, probably won't repeat last year's Assen victory. Dov has always been 2nd best. So that leaves you World Superstar or Up-and-Coming Talent. Or maybe, they need to wait until the GOAT makes a decision - stays at Ducati, they take Cal, doesn't and they try to sign him. All wild speculation. I haven't got a clue.
Well it also appears that Ducati have declined to take up their option on Hayden for next year automatically....ie not just yet...and their option on him runs out at the end of this Assen weekend.......
