Just cleaned my bike after 120 mile ride and came to the conclusion these would look so much nicer than stock shields. Might weaken and waste some money
Now that doesn't help me at all. Lol. Let us know what they are like when you receive them. Did I really ask that? I'm not helping myself here am I?
Exhausts shields arrived last week from The Arc Angels UK and I've just fitted them. Look really good and definitely look better than the standard tin ones. They were available in satin or gloss, I went for the satin to match the DP carbon. The real test will be when I get the bike out on the road. There's always a risk with carbon fibre heat shields that they'll discolour or melt like the mid exhaust shield did on my 1098 when the exhausts get properly hot. It's pissing down outside and I'm soft so will have to wait to see how they perform when exposed to heat.
They look really trick. Any heat shielding on the inside? Get a photo when you run em for a couple of hundred miles would be good. Tempted at the moment.
Yep they come with heat shielding on the inside. Will report back when I've given them some spanking! :biggrin:
