Silverstone GP, Monday June 2nd with Silverstone themselves. My mate recently upgraded to a 08 blade from a street triple. Love Silverstone and although its a fraction more expensive, I like they way they run the day. Free lunch too (well it was last year anyway)
Surprised you can wait til June Matt?! I certainly can't  Or will you be booking some more before then? Cheers, Dom
I have booked the day off from work for this. Soonest I can get confirmation a Panigale S with standard pipes can get through noise testing and work out what is actually provided by MCE in their track day cover, I will book this trackday.
Should be fine. I was able to speak to Tim Maccabee and the man responsible for the BSB races at an earlier track day and they were happy to say that not one single Panigale on standard pipes failed the ride by. Silverstone don't do static noise testing. It will be great to see you down there, we're going in the inters
I have booked Silverstone with Moto Rapido Ducati day, which is run by California Superbike School, July 31st. Off to Valencia in May, need to book another before that, perhaps Snetterton end of March
f*ck, sh*t n bollox...Hottrax site kept logging me the other night so requested new password out and forgot y'day and now Snett on 2 March is full!! Bum.
wanted to try my wets...need the practice as only done 2 sessions at Donny last year. And never on a big bike ;-)
I used to do 15+ track days a year, 70% inters 30% fast, but stopped in 2009 following the total paralysis of a friend. Did one at Silverstone in 2012 and was slower than a slow thing going slowly. So will probably go into the Novice. EDIT: All booked up and in the Novice group. Given up on the track day cover due to MCE not being able to give me any details other than there is a 50% excess. If the bike is damaged to the tune of £11K I would be more concerned how I was rather than the bike!
Think my last track day was 2011 when I had just got the 1098 and a load of us did Silverstone just as the new circuit had opened. Loved it on the 748 in the morning and then the 1098 in the afternoon. Not done one since as could not afford the loss of the bike value if it was wrecked so would ride round at about 10 mile an hour defeating the object of the day!
I'm in the contemplation stage atm, booked the time off but I'm doing the Ducati day the week before. Thinking I'll chance missing out to get a better idea of what the weather is gonna do.
