Until you put the girder carrier on it. Or get on it with your ludicrous oversized rucksack, ruining the airflow.
Having said all that I'm all for smaller pillions (in my case ) a la 1098 family pillion size ( just a pimple on the back) ...It is for very occasional use in my case and for very short journeys ( I guess my daughters weigh no more than 8 stone??? ) I wouldn't want to depend on them to transport a 10 stone (she'll kill me ) wife on a two week tour of Europe..... Mind you I did take my mother in law on the back of my Bonnie many years ago ( she used to ride a scooter in her 20's and liked the idea ) . It was a 40 mile trip to Horsham... and let say she is a bit on the large side....rear shocks bottomed out a few times but we got there
For long weekends away. I take the Bentley. Or, if the car is in for a service, a small change of clothes fit nicely into a Kreiger.
May have been registered in 05 but that is clearly the early model 999. And WELL overpriced! I paid £6,600 for my absolutely mint 06 999s and that was nearly two years ago. Mind you, I do think the price of a good clean 999 is going to hold up pretty well in the next few years...
Yep... no surprises when I saw Metro-poor-as-piss is selling it... I would never enter their showroom and if I did I would carry a very large bargepole...They wou;dn't know an 04 MY from Murphy's Donkey... With regards trade ins - I normally expect them to offer me 5% of nowt for my bike and then sell it for 200% of BLIMEY! I know it's zero hassle to trade it but does anyone do as I do and try to sell them privately first???
