Newb from West Sussex checking in..

  1. Hiya, I'm Justin and I'm currently not a Ducati owner but hopefully it won't be too long, just got to find myself a nice Monster 600 as my first big bike :upyeah:

    I'm from a tiny village in West Sussex called Fernhurst, some of you will have been by my house this weekend on the way to the Goodwood Festival of Speed :smile:

  2. Hi JuZ, welcome, i hope you realise that owning a Ducati has been proven by the medical profession as a form of mental illness, and your bank manager will be none to chuffed, and your other half will say things like "but you only cleaned it yesterday !!"

  3. Thanks mate, I have several other "mental illnesses" including karting and snowboarding so my bank manager is well used to it...
    as for my OH she's not keen on bikes so won't approve whatever I do! :redface:

  7. Yep, a mate had a spare ticket for Saturday so I got in for free :biggrin: Although at £6.70 for a cheeseburger that's just as well!

  8. Isn't that the truth, I went for the toasted cheese sandwiches the only thing under £5.00 for lunch, at least we did not spend out on beer because we had the bikes.

I thought it was a really good day out, so much to see and do, I especially like the rally section a the top of the hill, you get so close to the action up there without the huge number of people by the hill track. Saying that we did manage to get to the front for the bikes going up the hill, excellent. We did get to see some of the paddock, unfortunately they had moved the supercar paddock, so we did not get to see that, by the time we had worked out where they were we were too exhausted to walk over there.

    Bike parking was as good as ever, only problem was the minibus taking us back to the bikes had a nightmare getting back across the car park, I would suggest a separate roped off lane for them to travel in to get us out quicker. The guys driving the buses were very good though, eminently patient and good humored never mind how stupid the cars were being.
