Alfa clocked its 125'000 miles this week (a nice round 200'000 km) I bought it new. It isn't used for work. 999 has a bit over 20'000 miles (34k km) 916 had about 30k miles 851 had about 30k miles 907ie had about 30k miles. None of them have ever had any engine problems.
848 2013 - 3300 miles speed triple - bought in 2010 with 3500 miles. Now up to a mere 11,000 1993 vw polo coupe boulevard. Currently 37,000 miles. Bought from my wife's grandfather in 2005 who had it serviced at the same VW dealership he bought it from on the purchase anniversary! I bought it from him with with 13000 on the clock! trouble is because I work from home, I don't do any commuting mileage. All my miles are leisure miles. We also have a Skoda Octavia which my wife uses and is the family car.....I put miles on that going away at weekends.
Took a 23 year old VW Polo in in part exchange a couple of years, that had only done forty something thousand since new.
Its a cracking little car. Every now and then I think I want to get rid of it but its SO reliable and cheap to run.....its the motoring expense equivalent of carbon offset. I think I might be motoring neutral by now :biggrin:
