Jerry , good read do e almost 3000 miles on mine, have just added a evotech tail tidy, the original back end was a horror show, and a cracking g sc-project can, air filter and fuel modify...seems to get louder every time I ride her! your not wrong about the hooligan element, its a hoot and your spot on about pretty much everything else, although cant say I have experienced clutch issues.... Overall I would highly recommend this bike its bloody ace......the 996 sits in the garage cutting a lonely figure as the hyper is just so easy to ride in all conditions and is great fun
75kg wide Andy :tongue: so... the clutch seems to have almost no feel and when the bike is cold, it's far too easy to stall the bike. At the moment, I hate it.
Picked mine up on Saturday and loving it! Only managed to clock 45Km on it so far and will be away this weekend unfortunately but can't wait for some proper rides..

I'm running it in as recommended. I will be away for 2 weeks but will post pictures when I'm back and put some miles on it quickly so as to be able to go for it soon. I'll put a tail tidy on it in a few weeks and will probably go for the Termignoni full exhaust system after the break in..
Just did my first track day on the little guy. Man that was a lot of fun! put it in race mode and it was incredible! The rasp from the zaust was epic - unlike anything I've ridden. Throttle response was pretty instant. Not quite on/off, but a lot quicker than Sport mode. Loads of grip. Got rubber hanging off the edge of the rear with a proper orange peel wear pattern across the carcass. Epic day!
Just collected mine. Done tail tidy and evotech guard,got CR-T on order and a seat cover. Got to get all the carbon. Anybody bought the conquest carbon instead of DP?
