I will aim for 10 a.m. as it looks like weather won't last all day. The pattern here has been blue sky around 9.30 on but then overcast and heavy rain by 2 p.m. Looking forward to seeing Jerry's boots.

Let me get this right. There's a race on. Hopefully half the competitors will be female. They'll be fit. In Lycra. Our response: we should turn up and leave quick. I despair, this is why we are all single and our houses smell of cat piss.
