You're in a right fucking one Phil. 1st the thread on watches, now this. What would you like people to talk about in the lounge?
TBF he put LOL on both lines? I don't think he meant to be having a pop. I like some others have a couple of musical instruments that I would consider 'Iconic' deffo to me, one is an instrument my oldest sister had brand new when she was 12 so we have had it over 25 years and it still plays brilliantly; coupled with the fact that it was at the time really sought after and 'the one to have' if you could get hold of one. I have another one that I would consider Iconic because it just does everything, it's a brand that everyone associates with quality and it's a slightly rarer model, and again plays really well.

At least you're not that man (like me) who sold one 10 years ago when the prices weren't crazy :frown:

When I was a teacher I struck up a friendship with the parents of a particular pupil. They would always turn up at school in a Ford crappo somethingorother. But just before this pupil was due to leave, on the final Speech Day,they arrived out of the blue in their "other" car, an immaculate 1937 Rolls. To this day I don't think I have seen anything so beautiful, and iconic.
