Thanks thats great. Just what I was looking for. You have plunged me back into doubt however. I was back and forth all last week on which finish to go for. First it was the Satin then back to gloss. Can't decide which will look better on the red 1098. Going to get a front mudguard, rear hugger and key guard. it will all need to match which is why I was going for the gloss as there is no satin finish front mudguard. Bloody decisions again.
Have you asked Steve if he can get a front guard made in satin? He didn't do a matte hugger before I asked for one.....
No I haven't. I'm going more towards the gloss finish I think. The matte finish looks the nuts against a black bike. I think againt a red the gloss will look better. Although I have never seen a red bike with any matte carbon yet.
Makes no sense to me. A 1098 just looks so RIGHT with gloss carbon. Matte makes no sense and just looks so wrong...................unless you have changed ALL of the rest of the bike to matte.
