999 > 899 Pani

  1. I have a fabulous late 06 mono 999. Love the thing its wonderful, lots of additional bits on it.

    I have the opportunity to change for a new 899.

    I have a multi 1200s sport for trips etc, the 999 is an occasional useand look at plenty bike.

    Really cant make my mind up and need some constructive input.

    I have no doubt the 899 will be a much better more modern ride, but will the ownership experience be as satisfying?

    Any thoughts?

  2. Keep the 999. Its prettier and a fast appreciating classic. The 899 as good as it is, isn't as pretty. Not even close. You have the MS for the modern comforts. keep the 999 to have sex with.

  9. Oooh, tbh, I don't think u will ever find a cleaner 999 than that! I would stick with what u have tbh if u have the multi for touring

  10. i have a multi and a 899,i love the 899, but i would keep the 999 they are a beautiful looking bike and you will lose next to feck all on it over the next few years.

    And no option of a third bike for the foreseeable. It's one or the other.

  19. why is it one or the other , you cant be unhappy with the T9 , so whats swaying you to the 899 , just having a new/newer bike .
    To be honest the 999 has gathered kudos over the last 12mths , give it another twelve and its going to be even more sought after ,
    I have never ridden the 899 but I very much doubt its got the low down pull of the T9 , nor the dry clutch rattle.
    No choice for me , but you ?
