  5. Err, actually Cody Tech park takes it's name from Samuel Cody, the first man to fly a powered plane across Britain.

    Buffalo Bill indeed...

  6. Taken when I was a bit younger and had more hair,

  7. Just cooked dinner and earnt a stack of good behaviour points.Might need them tomorrow as I am hoping to test the new Monster 1200 and if I really like it...........

  8. You've got enough bikes:mad:

  9. No,it's ok Fig,it really is.I am downsizing.one Triton up for sale and the SF to be sold as well.

  10. Hoovered and washed the downstairs floor (quite a long job).
Bought fertiliser and spread it on the front garden, sides of the drive, that sort of thing. Never done that before, which is probably why the moss is taking over. Mind you, it ain't cheap. I might buy a second 20kg bag for some of the rest of the garden. It's £30 a pop. Grass better be greener on my side of the fence after that.

  11. Big mark ups on fertilizer.I used to be a landscaper and I was amazed at the retail prices of these products.

  12. Took 90 children to the British Museum..... Mmmm for the third time.
The things I do for my childrens school.

  13. How many did you bring back ?

  14. My bedtime story is much more fun - spoilsport, coming up with the truth.....

  15. Surprise me! These shops know they have you by the balls.
Building materials seems to be the same scam - ludicrously expensive. Bathroom fittings? Don't go there

I suppose I could have asked one of the local farmers to just spray shit all over the garden as they do on their fields, but I would have a hard job getting one of their tractors on my "lawn".

  16. Wouldn't it be easier to get some of the cattle onto the lawn to shit directly on it? It'd cut out the middle man too

  17. Packing! Off to the french Alps tomorrow for a weeks skiing :)

  18. Save some snow and wine for us, we are going in two weeks.

  19. Well today I have been to Hündlebahn, a small ski resort in Germany. They've probably got another few days of skiing there as the temperature is hitting 14-15C every day now. Lovely place though.

Then I went to Líndau on Lake Constance for a walk around the beautiful old town and then had a fantastic lunch at the side of the lake.

I then went back to Wolfurt in Austria for a meeting. I'm now back in my hotel watching a bit of TV before I head out later for dinner in Bregenz.

Tomorrow I'm off snowboarding to either Mellau in Austria, or Flumserberg in Switzerland. I'll decide in the morning.

  20. I'm pretty sure I have missed skiing for this winter.
It's spring now and time to get the bike out. Service has been booked. MOT in a fortnight.

Once I get into the spring mindset, I have no more interest in winter pursuits. It's getting reasonably toasty here now and dry.
