899 Deals

  1. Have been thinking of getting a Panigale for a few months, and I was originally going to get a 1199S, but after seeing all the various reviews on how good the 899 is for road use, I am now thinking of an 899 instead.

I know nobody probably got any money knocked off a new 899, but did anyone manage to get anything thrown in with the deal?

  2. Free termis exhausts, got to be worth £1200 or so

  3. There were some cracking deals around, 2.9% pcp and free cans, dont know whats there now

  4. I think the free cans deal ended before xmas, and I am not really interested in a PCP/finance deal.

Did anyone get a free seat cowl or an alarm or anything?

  5. Are they giving discounts for cash?

  6. Do they need to?!

  7. There throwing in 3 months anti corrosion warranty!

  8. Dunno. I just wondered. I'm toying with the idea of one but I'm not convinced yet.

A cash discount could persuade me.

  9. Its the no 1 seller, stock isn't coming out of their ears, you have last model which is being sold in spades...

  10. Behave!

  11. 3 months? Nah would cost the, too much money...

  12. Spades are what you use to shovel shit.

  13. I'm tempted to get one, but if I can only go out on dry days,it's a bit restrictive, and living in Wales that rules it out.

  14. You shovel shit...spades dig graves for older obsolete and inferior models

  15. Got £500 Ish off and the termis were free at the time.

  16. So, very interested in an 899 but which colour!? Like the white but I don't like the red wheels. I was told that the only way I could have the white bike with black wheels was to buy the white bike and buy a pair of black wheels as well and then they would just swap them over. Expensive!!. Could always just buy a red one. lol help!

Also is it possible to get cash discounts at all?? I know the poster above me did but main dealers seem very reluctant.

  17. Shouldn't cost more than a couple of hundred to get the red wheels repainted.

  18. Would that be a paint specialist or did you mean Ducati could do it?

  19. Ducati don't do 'build to order' specs, so it would need to be bought stock and then repainted.

  20. Just a wheel guy would do it - guy i use on car alloys is £40 a corner, charges 100 for a bike wheel as there more of a pain to work on as more to come off (discs etc).
Where are you buying the duc from - they will more than likely have a paint guy already?
