Removed / refitted rearsets & radiator from my 848... but have this left over. . Any of you have an idea what n where its from? My ring (?!) In the 2nd pic to give it scale.. inner dia is about 3mm outer is about 7mm...
Looks like one of the bushings that a rubber isolator goes into, possibly for the radiator mount, although as I remember they are a bit longer. If its the part I'm thinking of they are used all over the bike so its difficult to say exactly where it came off. Check the parts book? John
Cheers mate, yeah the spacers you mention are bigger / longer... I've taken apart the rearsets & cant see anything I've missed so I'm a bit stumped now... I'll continue my search through the parts book.
Get some Loctite on those heatshield bolts whilst they're off Hutch. They tend to vibrate 'free'....don't ask me how I know
Hehe I know bud... but I'll be running without that b@stard once she's back on the road... If there's no bolts you cant lose em... Just glad that wee spacer isnt off the rearsets or the rad refit..
Im guessing the big one in the background is your wedding ring. Dont EVER forget to put that back Yeah, it does look like a spacer from the heat shield as already mentioned. The ones up my the radiator and definitely deeper
Like she'd ever allow that!! Cheers guys.. found it odd the way that rogue bugger found its way into the jar with all the other removed bits... ive now tapped the heatshield & found the other two gits.... Was REALLY winding me up haha
