@messes was/is. He's had the oval in carbon (the longer non race version) and seems to like it following the discussions I've had with him. Two things had put me off though, first is that I want the race version and for some unknown reason they don't offer that one in the black steel, and the carbon cans have gloss end caps but a Matt centre which I'm not fond of, I'd prefer all gloss. The other is that @messes mentioned a bit of rust on the strapping and rivets pretty early on in ownership but perhaps if he can pick up on this thread he can shed more light on that as we didn't go in to detail.
At the moment I have a full termi under seat exhaust but to get the look I'm after ill need to get a sc project exhaust. Just wonder if it be a backward move
I love the look of the Sc project exhaust to be honest but its more of a personal preference to me that all the carbon on the can needs to match up, i guess i could always get it clear coated myself. OR i could go for the road legal version and just get it cut down from the black steel version. In regards to the rust mentioned it wasn't a lot so don't worry, It could simply be because he hadn't cleaned the bike following a load of road salt.
