think I like it,though a little harder to read and im now a new member. I found the member joined date handy when checking to do business with someone. ie are they trustworthy experienced members.
Accessing on an iPhone, anyway to remove the red box that takes you to the top of the page? If you write a long message, the text gets lost underneath so you can't see what you've typed. Hjggiijggg See what I mean :;
Hadn't noticed any announcement on the site to say you were moving host so spent all yesterday and today trying to log in to reply to PM's via the links in the notification emails I had received with no luck at all. I just found the site hosted here purely by luck :-$ lol
The web address hasn't changed - but there are some issues with older links that still need to be resolved. Perhaps you were clicking on one?
Yeah that was the issue for me, I got a couple of notification emails telling me I had PM's and when I clicked on the links I just kept getting a maintenance message saying the site was being worked on and that it would be back soon so took it as being the case. I just googled Ducati forum and found the new look site just by chance. It keeps saying the connection was reset when I refresh it then works.
finding that the 'Forum' link tab at the top of this page seems to be inconsistent it's coming back with a fault sometimes when you click on it, maybe just teething problems but thought you might like to know.
Is there a way to view the section of the forum that the new posts are in a bit easier? When I view by new post to the right it now shows the personas name instead of which section it's in, that is now in smallish type under the thread name itself. Also, I may be asking a silly question but how do you quote somebody as on my ipad I can't see where I press to do that?
There is a 'Reply' button sat the bottom of each post. On the right. I will look at the Section detail to see what can be changed. I will be setting up tag prefixes for most forums - will be much easier to identify where they came from. You can see some are live already in the new posts list (848, 1098 etc) in red.
I've looked at all the posts here and can't see why some of us are now new members, I was one of the first. Is this being sorted? I would like my status back. Well done , Looks good though just need to work out all the symbols on the posts.
