Couple hours walk this morning, too nice for the gym, then sorting my van and kit ready for next Thursday heading to Brands. Just the leathers to clean, bike and tools to load and we're rolling!
My first ride of the year. Out on the SuperDuke for a few hours on a SouthWestBikers 'friendly ride'.
Breakfast Hilltop then fish a x chips for lunch at West Bay Great ride out with 5 flavours of Ducatis
Today I mainly be sorting out the crap the builders have left behind. If I'm very lucky I might even get the bikes back home before the season ends
About 3 hours of digging. I stopped, unlike Mervyn, before I conked out, but we'll see tomorrow. There's the veg garden to dig (rather a lot of it, when I see what I have done so far) and another project by a corner of the barn which needs to be dug, weeded, levelled and sown with grass. I watched wistfully as bikes scooted noisily round the hairpins down the road, and up the other side. But I have to do the digging first, while nature is still partially asleep. More digging tomorrow, I suspect. Ah well. You can do worse things to get fit and slim down.
I tried to take a cot apart to take to #1 son's house for the latest member of the ET family, who is now 8 weeks old. I failed miserably as I couldn't get the twatting gate off the cot to dismantle it properly, and I couldn't get the whole thing out of the spare bedroom as it as about 4mm wider than the door frame. So I gave up for today (I'm putting down my lack of patience down to the fact that I'm knackered after having to get up at daft o'clock to catch my plane home this morning). Then went to #1 sons home for Sunday lunch (under false pretences now) - but I wasn't bothered Picked up a "Wendy house" from Toys R Us for #1 grandson after lunch which partly made up for the cot fiasco. And now I'm home still knackered but trying not to fall asleep otherwise I'll not sleep tonight.
100 miles on the Multi today , chainsaw in action this afternoon for my new log store and now pissed on whisky !
Whole day of stuff with the family, weather was amazing but no motorcycle related activities. But off work today so hopefully manage a ride out later for an hour.
Skied this morning, the place is empty!! Had lunch, now contemplating another couple of hours but it is getting heavy going in the sunshine.
So far today I have been dealing with shit that has built up whilst I've been away for a couple of days. I wouldn't care but I managed to deal with loads whilst I was away too.
I have been working on my start-up (phoning, emailing, managing, chivvying) and also spent a couple of hours doing more digging in the veg garden. There is progress but I am pooped.
