  1. who is doing good deals at the moment? with mce called today and offered a shit deal ,who can you recommend cheers

  2. I'll watch this with some interest too as I'm looking around after Ducati insurance delivered a rather pricey renewal quote.
Swinton were cheapest for a single bike but I've not had a chance to ask about multi bike yet.

  3. Try Hastings direct, done ok for me, past couple of years or so-call c entre based in deepest darkest Hastings I think.

  4. I had my 900ss with Swintons for £92 fully comp. I asked them about a multi bike policy (1993 900ss and 2003 749) and they added an extra £503 to the price, obviously don`t like you having more than one bike. If I just insured the 749 it would have been £236.
Carol Nash put both bikes on an emerging classic policy (their words, not mine) for £170 fully comp including recovery etc.
Oh yes, Carol Nash were ok that the 749 isn`t standard, it has Remus pipes, double bubble screen and power comander.

  5. I'm with bikesure. Seems really good so far to deal with.

  6. Just gone through this with my insurance for 1198 and ktm. Price with express for both was north of 450 so split and got two policies, duke for 200 and ktm for 100. Just keep an eye on things like excess payable and extras like protected no claims and legal expenses.

  7. I tried a number if insurers, quickly narrowed it down to Bikesure, Ducati and another who I forget. Ducati ended up as the best deal for me and eventually was also the cheapest, just. I have three bikes only one is a Ducati. I paid almost half of what the most expensive quote was.
