You wont even need to use the camera, you could just use Google Street view to see where you are going
I've always said sat nav of the future will be like a head up display with overlays on real time images. I have to use them fairly often tbh I hate the things they give you the right run round! Most of the time your none the wiser as you don't know where your going but when you plot a route that you know your often going down roads and think WTF am I doing going this way!
Hi guys. A lot of good reccomendations for ultimate addons and I think I'll go that way. The multistrada has a port to connect a charging wire too. They have reccomended a din/hells attachment. Anyone know if this is correct?
I use a waterproof case with a RAM mount and have a RAM ball that I replaced one of the 4 handlebar clamp bolts with. Cheap, convenient and I added a power supply as well. In combination with Co-Pilot Extra app and some headphones I have music, sat nav and a fully charged phone wherever I am. Hella plug is also right. I mounted an additional socket in the "boot", put a USB charger in the socket and got a 3m iPhone lead from E Bay. Plugged that in, job done.
Like the idea of the RAM mount system, seems to cover a lot of devices for the inevitable phone upgrades over the years. I have the Ultimate Addons kit but the case I have is for my old phone and they don't do anything other than a bag for my HTC which I am not keen on. May be easier/cheaper to go with the RAM gear for this bike.
I've fitted Ultimate Addons IPhone case with charger connected to existing satnav connection point in side panel. Works a treat using NavFree app connected to Interphone intercom.
Just a pair of wire tails all ready to plumb into. Have a look at this from AndyW's site: http://andyw-inuk.smugmug.com/Motor...cessories/12022942_Z6DMX#!i=868464484&k=pLhB3 Plenty on info there too - http://www.motorcycleinfo.co.uk/index.cfm?fa=contentGeneric.zvfiihryhlqbrzht&pageId=1214516
