  1. The baron is an acquired taste! First video I ever saw I was not impressed, but since then I have seen them all and I now "get it"

watch a few more with an open mind

  2. ...with their penises... (penisae?)...
Good to see you here mr Baron, your review of the 899 convinced me that I really need one, thanks!

Enjoyed the review muchly Stephen ;)

  4. Penises or penes.

  5. Formula (f) first declension, so you'd expect the plural to be formulae.

Forum (n) second declension so you'd expect the plural to be fora.
Media is the plural of medium, as data is of datum. Question: do you think of media and data as "stuff" like sugar, or separate things like molecules? Because it depends how you use the words, viz "The data isn't telling us anything" vs "The data aren't telling us anything". It's the former for me, but you see both.

Anyway, penis is third declension so if you're going all Latin the plural would be penes, as the "root" (appropriately enough) is "pen".

    It's all good fun.

  6. Haha, brilliant!
By "stuff like sugar or separate[...]" you mean uncountable vs countable? :)

I actually knew the answer, was just playing with words. You know, like Baron does ;) But thanks for this (really, no sarcasm), I never knew that datum was an actual English word as well!

PS. Answer: former. English is my second language though, so I might see things differently ;)

  7. Yes, I suppose it is "countable" vs "uncountable" - although you'd be hard put to count molecules (though Avogadro might disagree with you).

Language is top stuff and should be played with at all times.

With a name like that, is your first language Japanese?
