Ducati dealer

  1. Just a quick question... Riders ducati Bristol... Any good? The main thing I would like to know is how is there after sales service? I've been stung by triumph recently and don't want to make the same mistake twice

  2. In my experience they are very good. I have always bought my Harley's from Riders and bought my Road King from the garage in 2003 as the Bristol showroom was being built. They have done all my servicing since 2003. (before that I used Riders of Bridgwater)
Just bought the Multi from them as well so you will not get any negatives from me. Luke is the Ducati salesman, Duncan is the boss (was service Manager so he knows his stuff). Always pleased to see you, I have never had any problems.

  3. That's exactly the sort of thing I wanted to hear! Luke was the guy that I have been speaking to. Just waiting for better weather now! No sense in test riding in the wet weather!

  4. I ended up going to Sycamore Ducati/Harley for my bike as Riders just didn't want to do any kind of decent deal on a new Multistrada.

  5. I will agree on that. I had no part ex but could not get a big discount, having said that they are good people and look after their customers and this is worth a little extra IMHO.

  6. Good to know :) Servicing costs are a LOT cheaper at Sycamore, btw.

  7. That may be so but I can ride 10 minutes down the road for my servicing and if its rubbish weather I know they will pick it up and return the bike and that is worth a lot for me me. They did it last year when I had my last service done on the Harley, I took it in a day or so early because of the weather, ended up in hospital that night and had my bike returned, plugged into my Optimate all while I was in hopspital. You cannot put a price on good service.

  8. Very true, but it's not something I want to pay a premium for. These bikes are expensive enough without having to pay over the top for the same service. YMMV, of course, but I'm happy doing a 200 mile round trip on great roads and spending on a tank and a half of fuel to save £200.

  9. I got my 848 from sycamore and I have to say there service is exceptional. Not up there own arses like some other dealers I have been too. When it went in for warranty work I took some akrapovic end cans in which I had purchased. They kindly fitted them for £30. It wasn't even worth getting my hands dirty :)
