Hi Andy, Following on from the 'About to but a Multistrada GT' thread - Count mentioned he was looking to go down the de-cat/Termi Stubby route. Any news/pics on the MkII yet? Mark H
Not heard further from Ben, I know he was working silly hours so didn't want to 'pester' him - I'll drop him an email this evening.
No worries - I'm potentially in the market for one but would like to see it before committing to anything. No major rush on my side.
Hi,will it have a centre stand stop? : and where /how does it baffle, I take it in the bulbus bit. Do we know if it will rob power as the mivv baffles did. I may be up for one and am considering the cjs route too.
Sorry guys didn't get email notifications of your replies, something to do with the forum software upgrade I guess (@Rob). I emailed Ben last night asking for an update, he said at the end of last week that he'd take some decent photos over the weekend but I've not heard more. Will update asap.
Thanks for posting the pics and vid up slug - that's exactly the way I'm thinking of going. Looks like the LeoVince could be the one if Ben's MkII prototype isn't on offer. Health to use, Mark H @Count
No probs! Also remember the LV has a small buffle which could be handy if you go for an open can! For my taste this setup has the perfect volume
Ok here we go guys, Ben's gone the ebay route initially until he can establish a reputation i.e. ebay/paypal protection for buyers ;-) DUCATI 1200 MULTISTRADA DECAT PIPE | eBay The price has gone up from the original expected price as I guess he's looked at the costs and time involved in production. But..... 10% discount for forum members I'm told that the quality is way better than MIVV with "100% TIG WELDED PURGED PIPE JOINTS USING HIGH QUALITY 304 GRADE STAINLESS STEEL". Re EXVL eliminator systems like the MIVV come with a cheap as chips 'bodge' so leaving the choice of eliminator to the buyer makes sense to me. Electronic solution nice and neat and you could remove the whole servo motor as well as the cable but for half the price the BigRISK 'cam' is a tidy and effective fix (you could make one of those yourselves I reckon;-)
Sorry don't know - fire your questions at Ben - his email address is quoted in the ebay listing ;-) If you email me I can also let you have his mobile phone number ;-)
Looks great value at £270 compared to what you get with the plain Mivv offering at £300. S/S front and rear header pipes coming soon perhaps? .
s l u g, where did you get the Leo Decat from and when? I've been struggling to get any commitment from supplier or any other Leo Vince stockist. Thanks, W
Good news and jealous - I've just had to fork out for a new ignition system for the 'money pit' classic race bike unfortunately. Time to start saving (again ). Will be very interested to see a write up and pics of the decat installed by the mystery buyer.
Classic race bike.....you'll have to tell us more some time ;-) Ben relisted the decats, so new link: DUCATI 1200 MULTISTRADA DECAT PIPE | eBay Mystery buyer will reveal all soon I hope
