No maybe about it. But it's a level playing field now, so perhaps they won't look down their noses at newbies like they did on t'other site.
Why look down your nose at newbies in anything, we were all newbies once, just like we all had to learn to drive once. People should show more understanding. A little bugbear of mine I am afraid, I hate people being sniffy at new people because unless it is a closed society where you only stay doing what you were born into you have to learn to do new things and therefore be a 'newbie'.
It's a sad fact of life that when it comes to t'Interweb and the possible anonymity, if you so choose, that folk can hide behind some develop pumped up alter egos.....there was a fair bit of snobbery evident as well, a lot in the Multistrada section by non MTS'ers as the MTS1200 has attracted a lot of first time Ducati owners. ........anyone know if Dan's joined yet? :-O
Can't stand snobbery , I am not a technical person but if I can ever help someone I will, and if I can make someone smile or laugh that makes my day. Besides we each have our own specialities at things and its better to share that. If people want to be snotty or look down at other people thats their problem and their loss in life, the only person who will loose out in the end to that is themselves. Hopefully that will not arise here Come across a few keyboard warriors and full of p*ss and wind I think the term to be used is in the really real world
