Good choice I went from a 2 stroke to the 848 got it in oct and still smiling now and my mrs has booked me a track day for my bday so can't wait
Hi all, I'm also looking at an 848 from Snells. Took a test ride yesterday and I am in love! Just gotta sell my bike now as the trade in was about 1500 less than I could get. I've never felt so excited at the prospect of a new bike. The 848 epitomises everything I love about motor bikes! What an amazing summer this one could be?!! Ps. I live about 25 mins from Snells - maybe see a few of you around?
Sounds perfect. Do any of you meet at the station caf? Years since I was last up there and totally forgot about it, but I may have to have a venture out this year!
Normally Loomies as its more central, then you can head West to wilts or eat to goodwood and beyond..
I normally hit Loomies, although with my current ride I tend to go straight past! The 272 is a great road! I normally catch it at Midhurst or Petersfield and nip up to Winchester. There's an American diner that serves fab American breakfasts. (I may even have a pic...)

Nelsons on the newbury-basingstoke road? Service aint the best and mortgage needed for food, but always seems decent quality. A lot of the ukmoc and doc guys meet there before moving on
What one did you test ride? I got home on Friday about 5.15 by the time i took the hire van back and tried to sort a bit of room in the garage it was getting dark and i thought i will take a ride on Saturday but next day showery rain on and of all day so i started fitting Mrs Road trip a new office (kitchen cupboards) as it was delivered in the week. Today rain so went out in the garage and took a look under the cover
Don't tell me you're looking for one too? Forget what I said earlier - it was a crap bike. Paint peeling off, engine casing corroded and bald tyres. Don't even get me started on the rough sounding engine - was like riding a bag of nails!....erm...?
