I'm just weighing my options up. I haven't tested anything other than the 848, which I know I should before coming to any conclusion. Having said that, I don't believe anything else could come anywhere close to making me feel how I did on the 848. It all boils down to affordability, and until I sell my current bike I don't know for definite how much I'll have, so that's going up for sale today. I guess, whatever happens I now know that my next bike has to be a Ducati, but if I can't afford the one I want I'm beginning to consider what my other options are? I would have to save up, and surely that would be better done whilst riding a Ducati???
Go and ride as many as you can. They're all special and you don't need to spend a lot of money to have a grin from ear to ear!
Cheers Blanco, That first one can't be real can it? The price seems far too good to be true. Usually, when that's the case it means something fishy is going on?!?
That's exactly what I thought when I got mine!,but I guess I got lucky!,might be worth asking a fee questions??
Maybe you could be right. At that price I should be breaking his arm off and getting the credit card out! (I'm currently writing the add for my bike-need it sold quick!)
Thanks conquest. Which one MrAliT? I've just this second got my current bike advertised and I'm getting excited!
Did you test ride the 848 at Snells? I'd definitely go with an 848 but I have to say I've never ridden or owned a 749. I prefer the looks of the 848 and pretty much everything I have heard states it's better. No one's ever died from a cheeky offer. Stick one in before the end of the tax year..... You never know! Good luck ;-)
Yeah, this week, there will be dealers biting peoples hands off.... well, unless they have met target for the FY
Just seen a red 848 pop up in the for sale section for 6.5. Maybe a bit over budget but you never know
