http://www.infullgear.com/blog/4297...-questa-ducati-il-mio-stile-non-funziona.html He now wants a Jorge-desmo as his style resembles that of JL but it don't work on the Desmo... blih-me! he got me going on his "tough as nails"- "right guy wit the attitude to fight the beast" -thing .... He better put some theeth into it.. or i fear the 2015 ride will not be his.. too much young and hungry blood streaming in to accomodate winers...
I'm sure that is comments have been just blown out of context. He did however get his arse handed to him by his teammate on Sunday. Much better to judge his season after Mugello IMO
Hang on.... just, hang on a sec..... I wouldn't say that I am a Cal 'super fan' but I really don't think you can say that he got his arse handed too him by his team mate.. he was under 0.5 second behind him for most of the race and had an issue with the bike, in terms of qualifying there was a little less than a couple of tenths, Dovi has been riding that bike a year....
okay you're right. I hear-by retract my comments about CC's performance and replace them with 'he was beaten by his team mate' :Sorry:
Andrea Iannone was by far the better Ducati rider . He remounted and was still only 31 seconds behind Dovi.
I understood that the gps on his bike was malfunctioning. This would mean that the corner by corner mapping on bike would be completely wrong. I believe that he was getting full power coming into some corners and reduced power on the straights. If that was the case, it's understandable that he was less than happy after the race.
Of course for the race . He can be ouright furious But he s nagging that the desmo does not suit his ridingstyle and he wants more of a jorge style desmo. As after being with T3 for years he s now adapted to the bike that was built around and by JL .. Those ring not like clever remarks to me .. He s the stoner type of rider that would tame the beast, remember ...
Calvin had his arse handed to him by Bradley Smith for, what was it, 19 laps? Bradders can work on bike setup now that dreadful whining noise has gone from the garage.
That's the problem with the age of communication. People say far too much when they could keep silent. Even things I have posted on this forum may come to bite me in the bum one day. Who knows? But Bradley does seem like a discreet bloke who keeps his head down and gets on with it. I don't recall any contentious threads about anything he has said.
He also looks at least 45 years old when he grows his hair out but like he only has 45 days left to live now he has shaved it all off. If ever there was a lad that should wear a baseball cap at all times; he is it.
Surely by signing up to the open category and accepting the control ecu the corner by corner mapping that the factory boys get is now long gone anyway .
