Hello! I'm Erik, 31 years old and I'm from the Netherlands. Geldrop near Eindhoven to be exact. I've been riding for almost three years now. My first bike was a Triumph Daytona, partly because I couldn't get along with a 749. After that caused me more grief than I liked, I did the only right thing. I traded it in for a 848 from 2010. It's the Dark Edition, technically the same as any other 848 other than that it has the tastes color. Ducati 848 by Erik Hendrikx (Hostyle), on Flickr As extra's it has the later shape Termi's, some carbon replacements and a taller screen (Zero Gravity Corsa).
Nope, it's from a Dutch dialect (Brabants) meaning 'goodbye'. It's kinda fitting since I'm from Brabant and I use it quite a lot.
cool. these underground car parks popular over there? sure iv seen other pics on here from over there.
Thanks for the warm welcome! They're becoming more and more common. Parking space in towns is rapidly declining, so bigger new builds get their own underground car parks. This was underneath the new build apartment block across the street of my old apartment. By municipal law every new built house or apartment has to have at least one parking space Sadly this doesn't go for my new (old) house. So when I get the keys in July the first thing for me to do will be building a dedicated shed for the 848 and my girlfriend's Monster 796.
