last tax disc holder was mounted on footrest hanger and vibration killed it any suggestion as to a better place to mount it
From the rear? Smash it's back doors in? Cello tape it, for a few months, then situation nonnexistio.....
try the garage shelf!! after octoober 1st. stick it under the seat ,, you can allways produce it if needed.
I rode with mine in my jacket pocket for 6 months then finally it went on the swingarm. To be honest as long as it doesn't melt of fall off it doesn't matter where it is
I'll make it simple for him..............Cut out a disc of self-adhesive vinyl 95mm diameter........choose your colour. Stick the back of the tax disc onto it...............NB.....THE BACK! Then neatly position it on the left inside of the screen. You will need a hairdryer to peel it off, so no worries it will get nicked.
Surely running a sharp knife in a circle on the back once affixed would remove it - theft? More likely to see a thief with a knife, than a hair drier, round here least ways. Can't speak for your locale!
These days it doesn't really matter if it gets nicked anyway.......but its just as easy to crack the plastic or glass in a 'proper' holder to the same effect..........
Police don't give a shit about them now as they are to be phased out later this year, mine is tucked behind the fairing out of sight.
