  1. Yes-my findings I think are a little way back in this thread.:) Post no 26.

  2. oh sorry  blond moment

    such a shame

  3. Sure was Char. The Ducati guys at Pro Twins have been so helpful to me,and they gave me first shot on their new monster. On paper it sounded ideal as a bike to replace my SF848,but was a bit of a disapointment.I will be trying it again with the seat in a different position to see if that helps alleviate the cramped riding position that I found when testing.

  4. think I may need to take the KTM for a spin o_O

  5. I think that could be great fun.:)

  6. I went and had another ride on the M1200S. My first ride was ok (bar my feet catching the rear pillion pegs) but I wasn't burning excitement so had another go.

Nice ride and it did help secure my opinion that its just not for me, it doesn't have the aggressive edge that I covet and its almost a little too soft.

Next on the list to check as candidates for replacing my 1098SF are the Tuono, S1000R and the KTM Super Duke R and to maintain my eternal hope and prayer for a real Ducati super-naked.

  7. Anyone seen this?

It's interesting for sure, for me though, I love the look of the massive Ohlins forks etc, it just looks mean! I wasn't impressed though at the bike show when my right foot was hitting the exhaust/pillion footrest all the time, Don't think I could get used to that.

TBH if anyone has sat on a Speed Triple, I think it feels quite similar, I actually prefer the Monster 696 as a seating position.

  8. Does the new Monster 1200S Marchesinis?

  9. Taking a 1200 demo out tomorrow, And an 848 Streetfighter ..Feeling like a change of machine.

  10. Plenty love it, go make your own mind up rather than trust someone elses view

  11. Which term's would you put on, race or homologated ?
Apparently the dash will now show up a warning if you put the race silencers on that is extremely visible, is it worth the risk?

  12. At only 5 foot 6 , the bike suits me , just like them little Italians !!
I tried getting on the multi and the guy in the garage just laughed at me.

  13. Race every time , I was not told about the warning light when i test rode one last week & im having the race termis on .But when the panni came out there was all sorts of story's about the dash , like it didn't store all the mileage data on it, but the ecu did,so when you changed the clocks the mileage corrected its self !!!! Not true & it was electronically power restricted when running in , not true again .
It does say racing Evo when start it up mind you.
But you may know better .
