In the night garden......

  1. This is a children's TV programme I've had to get familiar with so I can sound knowledgable when my two year old grandchildren talk/gabble to me about it.

Have you ever seen it? What drugs were they taking when they wrote and produced it. And just as importantly do the BBC spend our licence payers money on strong drugs for their staff that commission this shit?

  2. Wait a few years and get into the regular show and gumball......in fact you could get away with it now....at that age they'll watch any cartoon.

  3. if you drink two bottles of Rioja, turn the bottles round and use them like binoculars, then the viewing makes perfect sense, as does the dialogue. You must drink both bottles though, Igglepiggle....

go and see them live- you know you want to!!!

  4. ET. Its for 2yr olds. You're a miserable old git. Of course you don't 'get it'. If you did that would be worrying.

  5. Did your granddad get the Magic Roundabout ?

  6. Is that a euphemism?

  7. boiiiinnnng

  8. I doubt it. One was dead and the other lived in Canada :(

  9. you will have to watch it from the beginning or you will miss the plot.

  10. It's a big favourite in our house with the kids. Me and the missus have to watch it, but we play a game where you have to guess whether it'll be the Ninky Nonk or the Pinky Ponk at the beginning. The loser has to go on top later.

  11. In the Night Garden has been on TV since my eldest son was born 7 years ago. I have picked up 3 other kids since then and each of them loves that show. It ruins my life. The things I would like to do to Iggle Piggle and Upsy-Daisy would get the death sentence brought back. If you get an opportunity to take you little one to a live show I would recommend it, they're really really good. But F*** Iggle Piggle.

  12. The Pontipines get on my nerves. They think they are so much better than the Wattingers.

  13. When you are excited about seeing a new episode you haven't seen before; that is when you know your life has truly changed for the worse. I get that from a Disney Channel show called Princess Sofia. I went home after 5 months and the first episode I saw was one I had seen just before I left :(

  14. In the night garden has what appear to be silly names, but they are designed to develop speech in young children. The weird names help pronunciation. But yes, it is odd! My current Disney favourite is Good luck Charlie, it's sad but I actually sit and watch itwith my daughter

  15. With a revenue of £50 million, I wish I'd had the physcotropic creativity!

  16. I absolutely love Sean the Sheep, and Timmy Time!!!, I watch them with my grand children, and I'm not ashamed to say I enjoy it more than they do. ;)
