  3. errr...not sure what you mean...although the "where to put them bit" might be seen as a double entendre...

  4. Oh come on, they're not bling in all honesty. :Dummy:

Just fuckin tat that should be binned :Cigar:

  5. id say tat if they were badly made but the look pretty well made from what I can see....I was thinking just to hold the plate on....I bought 6 as they were so cheap....I think it was 12 quid for the lot....more curious than anything else....

  6. Mr. Sofa, no.

These are items which belong in a Christmas cracker, not on your bike.
You don't want to over-brand stuff. Real bling is subtle and discreet.

But you could probably turn them into quite amusing cufflinks and give two pairs away to friends for their birthdays.

  7. Yup - agreed - tend to keep mine quite minimal - when I got it, it had god knows how many ducati corse stickers all over it which I removed - I just thought they might be a little subtle for holding the plate on....easier to take off them when I get fined for a small strip plate or, when it has to go in for MOT (ie this Friday...)

  8. Are they ear studs?

  9. heh - they could be....this thread could get quite long...I must confess I thought id get a couple of "yeah - they look nice" and that's about it...

  10. I don't like stuff that manufactured badly or looks cheesy but I must confess I thought theyre well made, small and therefore quite subtle although id limit the amount on the bike to one or two but judging by the reaction I think not now....you are all the voices in my head...

  11. Well, to hold the number plate on, I suppose that's OK, as the number plate area is already blighted by the plate, so any, er, questionable items aren't going to jump out at you.

I mean, you wouldn't want something like that on your fork tops, would you?

  12. No - the place for them is where they cant be easily seen....having said that talking suspension my rsv4 factory has the ohlins shock and the dial on the top of it is plastic....one of the lads on the aprilia forum found a shop selling a blue anodised one for 70 quid! Now that's bling....

  13. You could use them on items that aren't your bike? Maybe to hang your keys on or something in the house?

  14. yup- good call....think ill explore that route....12 quid - not the end of the world...

  15. I think they look pretty good for £12. Are they reasonably weighty?

  16. yeah - 12 quid for the 6 - yes, stainless bolt and thread, top bit is anodised.

  17. Perfect for a set of coat hooks in the garage.

  18. See now they are a prime candidate for the Swanky or Wanky thread.

Agreed about coat hooks but nowhere near the bike.....please!

  19. Ok - they wont touch it then....

  20. Kitchen door knobs.
