848 I've only gone and done it!

  1. After much deliberation, to'ing and fro'ing and all that jazz, maybe I was breathing paint fumes but I have today put down a deposit on the white 848 from Snells.
Next Wednesday or Friday is the day (they're not sure the workshop will be free to get it ready for Wednesday).
Wooo hooo! Now I am excited!

  11. Seriously so excited. I can't stop looking at the pictures so God knows what I'll be like when it's in the garage???
I'm getting my browny points in now with my wife!

  12. How? Have you unchained her from the sink? You'll live to regret it. :(

    You have been warned!!

  17. Thanks Phil.
I tried taking myself out of it, but my wife talked me back into it! She's a keeper for sure!

  18. Good on you mate! But... having your wife talking you into buying a bike, wtf? You need to take another course of man maths.;)

  19. Thanks mate-it's a good point you raise, however, by using reverse psychology I was able to turn a potentially dire situation into one she thought she was in control of.
Along the way I also showed financial responsibility. Perfect!
Another course in man maths? Nah, I'll be lecturing them! ;o)

  20. My Mrs was the same bud... I'm fannying about umming & ahhing about part chopping the R6... Literally drove away from the dealers & she made me turn back to do the deal on the 848.... I love her to bits & she's a keeper.. (fairly keen on my wife too).
