Instructions were spot on cheers. Didn't need a screwdriver as I managed to slip the hoses off fairly easily. Pretty easy fit. Have you had any issues with just having the one breather pipe?
Hi, glad it went well, I have had no issues at all with the one breather, I have just had a tour of Scotland, 1550 miles in 4 days, rain and very hot sun and filling the tank to the neck, its ran perfectly. Only thing I noticed is that one of the washers has moved slightly off centre, no leaks but it has moved maybe 3mm. Are you going to mark the lid? I dot punched mine and it makes it so easy to refit the lid, I put the dot toward the seat, then when its tight it points toward the clocks, means there is no chance off cross threading.
Hadn't really thought about the line up thing. Maybe. I need to take the cap off and fit a screw as I forgot to do it and don't want petrol splashing out. Brass, metal or aluminium? Pleased with the look though.
Brass or stainless be best, no rust or corrosion issues then, I used stainless but only cos I had some. Looks good.
