Popped into the Mega Motorcycle Store over at Swindon on the way back from swimming, some real bargains but as I don't require a Frank Thomas jacket for £20 I did refrain from buying anything. Then went to try and see a 749 for sale near me with a dealer but they were sadly closed, very good price and looked fab on the internet, but close up looking at it through the window it was very scruffy under the fairings, a lot of paint flaking on the casings and the forks were all corroded so it looks as if it's been commuted on through the winter, my 20 year SS is in better condition, so that one won't be for me.
Work for a few hours and as a mon-fri guy who gets paid the same regardless of hours worked it always sticks a little in my neck..and watched the italian road racing series live on motors tv. Pre-moto 3 was madness..
Had the car serviced on Friday (£259 from main dealer, pretty good IMHO) and went out for a curry friday night. Other than that I've done absolutely nothing......I've only been dressed for a few hours...
I've only just had a shower and I'm still not dressed Watching footy and pissing about on here all day takes up your time
Cheddar Car boot (interesting!) then Frome monthly market (very good, bought buffalo sausages) home, gym, shower, Wells cathedral for a service (actually sang hymns We know) then straight out for a curry, a new ish restaurant in Odd Down, very good. About to walk the dog.
Been to Wales for a few days *(car not bike) It rained But on the bright side they have tarmac on their roads, no 50 mph signs, the local cider and lamb are good and they welcome dogs into their pubs & shops. Will be visiting again in the 'summer' on the bikes :Woot:
Saw the Accountant today to finalise last years accounts. Bad news is the tax bill ! Good news is that the company Ducati helped reduce the amount of tax. All going well so now time to test drive that XKR I have been wanting !
